Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Good morning Rose, and a warm and soggy welcome sweetheart.
I read your profile so know you've had a rough ride - you could have done without the flaming leak for starters!
How are you doing now, and is surgery still in the offing? Well done on giving up the smokes lass, and I hope your mum is getting care in some form. Sending you hugs xxx
Thanks julie, i live on my own so really nice to have a connection witj someone.

Earley plugs are a good idea.

Aw hell Rose, that's awful and yet another worry for you. Is it just yourself that deals with everything for your mum? I hope someone else can step in so you can concentrate on your issues. Life's very unfair, but you seem switched on and I'll guess you look for solutions whenever you can my lovely xxx
Hi Rose
A leak, that's not good. I hope you can get it sorted quickly.
Sorry to hear about your cancer worries.

Morning all
I slept well until about 4:30am and came downstairs at 5:00. I've had my first cuppa. We're thinking about going out for lunch today, to a lovely Italian restaurant in town that's 5 minutes walk awa
It's absolutely lashing down here atm, it's battering against the window!

Morning Helen I dozed back off around the time you woke up - you must have taken the baton in this relay! Poor Rose, I hope she can get some respite for her mum and I really hope her scan will turn out for the best.
You enjoy the meal if you get out hon - bright blue skies here and not as windy as yesterday's hoolie, so fingers crossed it's calmed down at yours xxx
Hope everyone got some sleep too. The wind has gone down a bit now thankfully.
I've woken to no heating! Trusty gas engineers on the way later.
OH has a cold and sounds like an elephant! Just don't want anything for my first treatment next Wednesday.
