Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Julie Crikey lovely, I hope it won't take long to get the heating fixed, as the elephant in the room needs to get over his cold, pronto!
Do you think there could be something in Friday the 13th? I reckon we all get enough lousy luck without that as well! Big hugs sweetie xxx
Hello Rose, and a warm welcome to the group.
Sending you huge hugs. xx
Good morning everyone.
Thank goodness the wind has calmed down a bit.
Rosedeec1bf9b I hope you get the leak sorted. Enjoy your lunch Sbird Julie2468 I hope you get your heating sorted quickly. xx
Thanks everyone for your support, which is lovely.
i’ve spoken to the roofer who will come to look at it on Monday….so for now, I’ll keep a bucket by my bed! But at least I have heat and hot water.
Thanks Gill. I’m lucky to have a sister and we share the responsibility for my mother. Also have a brother, who does very little! I had a massive falling out with him about this last year ….. nothing has changed!
I was under enormous stress from it all last year - BP went crazy and I got very depressed.
I know the main cause of my cancer is my smoking, but have wondered about the role of all the stress in terms of the timing…..
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
