Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hope you managed to get off to sleep again Pepper. I get entrenched in the demon Instagram in the night...it can really liven me up sadly!
I managed to find an Agatha Raisin series on BBC Sounds that sent me off to 5.15am which is quite remarkable. Will see if another episode my get me off for another hour or so
Morning, Pepper.
I am sorry to hear you are struggling with sleep still. I was very similar at the start. Over thinking, using Dr google and looking at all sorts.
It really is the hardest part waiting for results and the silence whilst waiting. At night there are no normal life distractions like there is during the day. So one way I coped was to accept it was going to be a sleepless night and listened to true crime podcasts, researched things which interested me.
It does get better and much clearer once those results come and plan of treatment is discussed.
Sending hugs x
Morning all
Sorry to see so many of you awake again during the early hours. I Hope you all managed to doze off. I slept like a log last night
I turn all tech off no later than 10pm and we have none in the bedroom, I mostly read (physical books) which helps to send me off.
H
Morning Helen and the gang. Sorry to hear some of you slept poorly last night, but hopefully you'll be able to grab a nap during the day.
I found The Shining, read by a bloke, and for the eight or so hours it played I slept for about seven of those, so it worked!
Hoping you all have a peaceful day lovelies xxx
Good morning Gill and your OH too.
Hope you both have a wonderful day. I am getting back to fitness and started to use my treadmill again. Granted taking it slow and steady but feel its time to get back to it.

The saga of the sofa continues lol waiting for another call from DFS today....so we shall how it goes.
