Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Aw thank you Linda, and that's very kind of you, but everyone here puts in valuable contributions including yourself, regardless of our sleeping patterns.
It is a nice place to post and great when new members join. Once again, thanks sweetheart and have a lovely day. Big hugs coming your way xxx
It certainly was Derek, and I was absolutely gutted when we went a few years ago, as the fish shop and café were no longer there.
I tried to recreate my own burgers in batter in homage to Barmston, but they were horrible and tasted nowt like. Like I said to Ray yesterday, I've created more flops than successes. Grrrrr xxx
Its given me a nice little boost. They cancelled my appt today and booked in for tomorrow at 13.30pm. Which now means we have 30 mins to spend at our step granddaughter 1st birthday party. So a little annoyed we have to do a fly be visit.....but its how things go at times. So just smiling and thinking their are others who need their care today too. Mine can wait one more day xx
It's annoying but you've taken it well, even though it's messed up your plans for the little one's birthday.
Well you're not on your own with the appointment screw up Jamie, we're in Leeds right now, waiting for a taxi home. The dental hospital gave us the wrong date for OH's appt so we've to come back next month instead. The receptionist was apologetic but we remained calm and went for coffee and cake to sate our pangs. No point in getting het up hon xxx
Gill, we had a caravan there that my Man & Dad bought when I was about 10, went there every weekend between March and October and for our annual summer hols, there was a group of us always knocking around the site and beach.
My Dad sold it to my grandparents (his parents) when they retired and they also spent most of summer there away from their back to back in Leeds.
Who knows, we might have known each other at the time?
Happy days.

It's a possibility Derek, as I was made in 1958 so who knows? You're one of the luckiest people I know, having spent all that time in our dream place.
My destruction is going on nicely, as I'm a wreck! Heading for home now but calling in the bookies to place a bet for tomorrow. MOT ALAW xxx
