Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi all
I'm sorry to see that we have some new members in the wide awake club. I sympathise with all the worries you have and I hope all find the answers and/or the peace you need.
I've been busy with the in-laws, Dad (95) has trouble eating now, he's had numerous cancers, but Mum (94) doesn't see the problem. I'm trying to educate her to softer foods for him; tonight I made a shepherd's pie and he woofed it down, slowly as he can only use his left arm now but he got through it. I have to admit that it was a particularly good shepherd's pie .
I've finally had my NHS pension confirmed today, I started the claim on 2nd October! It's not huge but it'll help.
Anyway, I'm enjoying a glass of wine and Cooper & Fry this evening so I hope you all get some sleep tonight.
