Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I reckon once the weather cheers up then so will you, as not many folk are miserable in warm and sunny weather. I'm an exception as I'm one for dark and gloomy skies - maybe I was a ghoul in another life
Make sure to keep up with all your appointments Doreen, and don't get anxious about them. If you do there are plenty of us here to chat to and keep you company xxx
its not just the weather iv got a hospital appointment for a checkup to make sure my cancer diagnosis has come back i find it very hard its been very traumatic scary and frightening even at my cat that has gone I've you know it be it be really two years up I had it and I didn't have it but I had like I hysterectomy but never mind
Well fingers crossed you'll still be in the clear, but don't dwell on it lovely - try to do things that will take your mind away from it. I know that's hard to do but our minds can be very strong, just give your concentration to something else, even getting engrossed in a TV programme could do the trick.
If you find getting some sleep later avoids you, there'll most likely be some of us night owls fluttering about to keep you company. And that appointment will be here before you know it, I promise xxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
