Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Well done Helen, for helping your in-laws and making a delicious shepherd's pie.
Fab news about your pension getting the go ahead - we also got our good news today that OH has been awarded PIP. It took me 8 months but it's in the bag.
Enjoy your wine sweetheart - you deserve to raise a glass or two xxx
4 night now Limited and no sleep. Started 3 days before surgery and 2 nights after surgery
I’m sorry to hear that you’re not sleeping. I’m new to all this, but thought I’d reply and let you know that you’re not awake on your own.
Morning Imdoingmybest

Thanks Sarah, I have tried to post on the awake all night forum, but my post appeared on the community chat. What am I doing wrong? Apologies for my ignorance.
You have posted in the awake all night thread in the cancer chat group so don’t worry-you’ve done things right. You were replying to another member and it was fine.
I know it can be confusing at the start getting used to how everything works, but we’re happy to help if you find anything confusing and we’ll keep you right!
