Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Very understandable. I was the same and the anxiety is very overwhelming. In the end I have no control over the scan or the results is the way I try and deal with scans and I try my best not second guessing. Easier said I know. Just trying to offer a different view to think about it to help.
When I struggle to sleep, I just listen to podcasts or an audio book, using ear phones. This helps to stop me getting more frustrated, and relax a bit more. Helps the brain to focus on something else.
I am the same. I had lost the control and it was taken out my hands. So, I totally understand your view on the waiting. I was like report it already I need to know.
Audio books are good as being read to is relaxing.
Morning,
Obviously unsure of the details of the text and situation. I would try and let it not upset you. We are unable at times to change others peoples views, ideas or opinions which makes us the individual we are. Does he have some worries and concerns going on? hope you managed to get some sleep last night and feel more rested.
