Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Helen
Good luck for this afternoon and for the eventual result - hopefully the best one. Thank goodness you're on the mend too, as it's taken a while. You may have seen in my post to Lynne, OH's lingering cold is causing him problems. I've never liked summer, but this year it can roll on if it helps at all.
The good news is you'll be able to enjoy your upcoming break with the lurgy finally on the move xxx
Morning lad.
I've come to the conclusion I'm immune to any sleep-inducing remedies.
I plumped for the tail of Fanny Kelly, abducted by a Sioux Indian tribe in the 1800s. The narrator had a very odd voice - AI? maybe, but I still hoped for a borefest. However, the story was both tedious but interesting and I got hooked. I was still wide awake, and on chapter 7, at well past 3 o clock, so sorry bravetony, a good try but I failed again. Thanks all the same and I'm glad you got some quality sleep xxx
Fingers crossed your sisters scan goes well today Lynne. Sending hugs your way xxx
Thank you she is on her way home . traffic is horrendous this time so will take her some time to get home .and tucked up in bed.will not talk to her till tomorrow when she feels better.. sending hugs
