Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi bravetony I've never heard of librivox, so will check that out very soon, and thanks so much for your suggestions - others may benefit too.
I love reading but there's a snag - none of the books I've got are boring, to the extent I've read several over and again because they're so enjoyable. I could always go in a charity shop and browse till I find one that looks both boring on the cover and boring on the blurb on the back. That could work as long as I don't get hooked!
In the meantime I'll see what librivox is about, and thanks again my friend xxx
Haha very true. I hope GP can offer some more advice this week too. I have add quick look at librivox and lokks like you download a short stories. Pleased you managed an extra couple. Every extra minute is a bonus at the moment x
Jamie, every second is a bonus and I've not been as bleary eyed today.
I'm just having a look at how to do the honours with bravetony's suggestion, but I'm not too savvy with techy stuff - I might have to ask for your help if I get stuck.
Please let us know how you get on at the GPs this week, and is it this month you're seeing your oncologist? I'm hoping for only the very best news my lovely xxx
