Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I am so anxious. Like everyone when it comes to these appointments. Personally I think this is affecting my sleep too. I just dont know what direction this next appointment will take me. Like all of us in this journey. Xx
Aw hon, the anxiety is perfectly natural and I'm certain your OH will be feeling the same way. Just get through the next week as best you both can, and knowing what's on the cards will take a lot of that stress away. In the meantime, let's hope the new sofa turns up so you can plan the decorating - get OH to give some input too. And don't forget, if any of the new suggestions don't have the desired effect with sleep, chat away here no matter what the time as you'll always find one or two of us around. Big hugs hon xxx
Thank you again. New sofa, furniture is coming in March. So gives me about 4 weeks of slowly doing the painting and getting it sorted. OH is supportive and looking forward to the new lounge decor too x
Hi Lynne you've done it again sweetheart - it's Jamie who's going to do his decorating. I could do with getting some done here, but I'm too doddery on the stepladders to even attempt it, so it's looking like I'll have to get a professional to do the honours. Worst luck!
How are you doing love? Good I hope, but get plenty of relaxing time in whenever possible xxx
