Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Jamie
Thats so kind-thank you very much.
Sarah xx
Gill, We are both typically positive thinkers in general after all the rest of the things we’ve had to go through-we always look for the silver lining in everything, even the not so good news.
So, hoping for positive news from the consultant tomorrow and we’ll deal with whatever we’re told.
Ps. I wonder if Jamie mentioning GA and difficulty getting put to sleep refers to general anaesthetic? That was my first thought although I have always reacted instantly when I’ve had one!
Thank you Gill-appreciate hugs and love always!
Sarah xx
Good luck for tomorrow sending blots of hugs x
Haha GA lol general anaesthetic....good old Google. Hence why whay ever we Google its best to take with a pinch of salt. Just on way home from follow up CT ready for oncology on 10th.
I am taking each day has a blessing. I will dance with the good days. Cry for the bad ones. And smile for those days in between. Always good to keep a humorous side. Sometimes a good laugh can do more good then we know.
Lovely attitude all the best for your results on the 10th .. sending hugs c
I will let you all know in here how I get on too. x
Jamie, I've never been more glad to be wrong, whereas Sarah got it right, thank goodness. Yep, Google is the worst quack around and I should have known better, after scaring myself half daft in the early days after my fella's diagnosis.
I'm in total agreement with you about keeping a SOH - I really miss having a daily side-splitter and can't wait for them to return. Phew about the GA misunderstanding xxx
Haha so funny. You did make me laugh and it felt good. So a big thank you for that. Laughter will return soon, again its the waiting around and guessing, then second and third guessing. Thank Sarah for pointing it out x
