Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I was diagnosed with vulvar cancer June ,2025. I wàs just getting over the radical vulvectomy and cliterectomy when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, sent specimens to Cleveland clinic and they found a rare type of cancer.
The thing is, I'm missing any type of climax. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me? This is the only place I can get honest answers.
Hi everyone, wishing everyone well, my trip to London went well and although it was exhausting ( I don't have the same energy since my orchidectomy) it was great to be back in parliament and see my irlfriend, but it's nice to be back with mum . I've decided to adopt a new cat as I have always had a cat in my life and Leo ...my cat passed on August 26th 2025....Gill h...I have stopped the recreational drugs and reduced my alcohol intake

Hi again Leocat. I'm really glad you enjoyed being with your girlfriend and events in London. You sound much more focused and have made some solid decisions, especially about welcoming a new cat into your family. Obviously Leo can never be replaced, but I'm sure he'll be purring with satisfaction that you've decided to fill the void he left somewhat.
Please let us know, when you get him/her, what name you've decided on, or if you need a suggestion how about Augustus (Gus) in tribute to Leo and his birth month? Or better still, ignore my rambling but I'm crazy daft when it comes to our furry friends. Keep the positivity and take good care my friend xxx
Hi Annie and welcome. Sorry I couldn't reply yesterday but we had a mini emergency at home that I had to sort out.
I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and what you've already been through, but here's hoping everything will be done to get you well again. With regards your question, there is a thread on the cancer chat forum - it's called Cancer and Sex - Let's Talk. You'll be able to talk candidly and hopefully others will respond. I don't know how to provide the link to the thread, but maybe a community champion will do the honours if they see this post.
Wishing you all the best, good luck and sending hugs xxx
