“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning all
I had to sit up during the night for an hour. I think I may need to change to having my main meal at lunch time as I think large meals aren't helping.
Anyway, that said, it's Alan's birthday today so we're going out for lunch. I'm just hoping this terrible weather improves as we're walking to a local hotel. Then this afternoon he is getting a special gift - a filling at the dentist

It's Helen's husband, Alan, who's celebrating his birthday today - mine was way back on 1st October but no worries sweetie, it's sometimes difficult replying to the right post.
