Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Lynne.
My guess is Helen will be sound asleep by now, so will probably reply to you in a few hours' time. I'll have a chat with you if you like. Have you made plans for Christmas day yet? xxx
No just staying home .my eldest daughter said she will do a dinner and drop it off .told her thank you but i should see BB ok to do my own dinner .
Aw but it was lovely of your lass to offer, Lynne. I'm going to make Christmas dinner but just for my fella and me. His care routine can be pretty full on, so cooking for a few would be too much work. Add to that I'm a lousy hostess
What are you planning on having to eat? xxx
Lamb dinner .for two .i enjoy cooking loved baking .not done any for over a year .just can't seem to get in the mood to do it right anymore .
I know exactly what you mean and I haven't done any baking for over a year now.
Lamb is one of our favourites, so your dinner will be yummy
We've had rib of beef for our Christmas joint for years, but since his surgery my OH is better with softer meat, so my eldest daughter has ordered us a plump chicken, and other tasty treats, from the Meat Company where she gets all her meat. We can't wait and there'll be roasties, Yorkshire puddings and the rest. I'm drooling now at the thought. Are you in the Christmas mood now? xxx
I all ways cook all the veg and freeze what is over helps in the week you only have to do meat and potatoes .don't do starters and afters save that for tea .
We don't have starters or afters either, else we'd be too full for the main. But no doubt we'll be chomping all day long.
Before cancer hit us, we tended to take things for granted but I'm determined to make this year nice, after missing out last year. I'm sure your dinner will be special and delicious.
Well sweetheart, I'm going to try for some sleep as I want to get my shopping done early. When I went yesterday, it was getting busy and I'd like to avoid that today. So, I'll wish you a good night and thanks for the chat. Hope we can have another soon. Night god bless xxx
Morning Lynne
We do have a plan, I've already made stuffing balls and will be cooking a turkey crown. James & Ashleigh (son & DiL) will be cooking a goose and all the trimmings.
Do you plan to a military standard?
