Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Aw Derek, I think you're doing this on purpose, tormenting me with talk of storms when you know they're what I crave.
Anyway, the giant cacti must be fab to see up close, something to remember and all the other desert features. I'd be videoing and snapping away like crazy.
So you're heading back next Thursday? You'll have missed all the cold snap by then so your timing's spot on. I should really nod off as it's almost half two, but cheers for the latest update - even the dramatic storms, she says through gritted teeth. Lol.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday to the limit my friend xxx
Morning Helen, I'm sorry your still sleeping/feeling crap my friend, but try not to let it get you down, it only makes you feel worse, and hopefully the sun will come out for you for your time in Dover, and a little sea air and a treat or two will lift you a little
Eddie xx
That's superb Derek! Imagine having one of those in the garden, it'd beat a gnome any day.
When you mentioned steak the other day, I wondered if you'd been to a steakhouse and tried one of those giant T-bones, the size of a guitar? Whenever there's something on telly featuring a diner, the grub always looks really tasty, so you'll be able to tell us if it's as good as it looks or a bit ropey. I swear food isn't always on my mind. It is really.
Big thanks for sending the photo and enjoy the rest of your holiday xxx
Evening Eddie, and I hope you're all well and enjoying the holiday.
I'm guessing Remy and Thora are Helen's grandkids but she'll put us in the know tomorrow probably. Thora Hurd is my favourite actress ever, she was so talented and reminded me of my granny.
Anyway, you're hopefully getting some sleep now so have a super time if you've got plans for tomorrow, or just taking it easy. Love LOH and me xxx
Hi Gilly, I'm still on UK time, as the extra couple of daylight hours have thrown me, I spent half the day in bed, I'm fine, I guess the travelling caught up with me. Anyway I made up for it with a lovely rest of the day, cooking, swimming, tidying up the little terrace, and a little exploring in the car. Wow, Gilly, Thora Hurd, you do know she was Dame Thora Hurd, she was lovely, as were the chairs she advertised
, my favourite actress since my teenage years is Jenny Agutter, and now Brie Larsson, I'm not sure about tomorrow, as I might have to go home on Wednesday, I'll make some phone calls tomorrow
we can sort something out, I haven't forgotten about PM you some pics you can share, this is the view from the highest point locally, and the terrace tidied up, has LOH got over another loss for Leeds?, and what's on the agenda for you both tomorrow my friend

Wow Eddie, beautiful photos and if that's where you eat, on the terrace, what a stunning view
Yes, I like Jenny A. too, especially in Walkabout which is a smashing film. Dame Thora, sorry, and I haven't forgotten her words "Shackleton's high seat chairs, you know." Class.
Aye, another blow for Leeds but we didn't sulk and I provided some comfort food after the final whistle, to cheer us up. Nothing planned for tomorrow other than a trip to town for shopping and putting an order in for LOH's meds. Woo hoo! But I'm hoping it's nothing urgent that you might have to come home for as it's a long journey to make. Fingers crossed you can sort it out from there.
I'm going to get to sleep at a sensible time tonight, so I'll say night now and send you all big bosies. Sleep well Eddie xxx
