Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Awww Gilly, Kate didn't get her username from Puddletown, she's a West Yorkshire lass like yourself, no we were talking about Gaelic names, and I mentioned Puddock was Gaelic for frog, which she has a thing for, so changed her username to it from Candysmum, after losing her beautiful furry friend Candy, PS I've done a drawing of Candy for Kate, I'll put it up. Strangely Sheila isn't a fan of hot weather, but the long sunny days keep her head in a good place, I hope you both had had something to cheer about after the match.
love Eddie xx
Wow Helen, you don't do things by halves, and why not, unfortunately we're stuck indoors as its rained all day, but its been lovely, I was hoping to visit friends Nr Oxford for a couple of days on the way home, but somethings popped up. Oooh lemon drizzle cake, fab, my fave is homemade spotted dick with ice cream.
love Eddie xx
Aww that's a lovely drawing Eddie, and Candy looks like a Westie. In the clear about Kate now, but I thought she might have lived in Pudsey before Scotland? Anyway, we've got frogs in common as I've got several, ceramic and wooden ones, dotted around the house. I've always loved frogs.
The match - we're not the happiest couple in town right now, but the blue air's cleared enough to get into the kitchen and make the tea. I'm convinced the two commentators were kitted out in full Forest kits throughout, and that's what really narked us!
Forgotten now and sausages and mash on the menu, with a pudding for afters. Helen's description of what they had for brunch made me hungry like the wolf! Love from us xxx
Spotted Dick was a good, wholesome suet pudding popular in school dinners back in the day. Together with a tasty first course, and before school toast with salted dripping for breakfast, we were well set up for the day of learning or yawning (history!!). Spotted Dick small puddings were available In Tesco until a year or two ago. Now they only seem to sell the very sickly-sweet treacle sponge or jam sponge variants.
