Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Morning Helen,

Aye, it's quiet but you always supply the morning alarm Alarm clock call xx maybe the cooler weather's sent some of us into hibernation.

Anyway, you've got a pleasant day ahead Blush but unsure about us, as we'll be watching football this aft and it could go the wrong way for us- again!

Here's a thought; we're up to a quarter of a million views and that's some going for a youngish thread. Enjoy your day hon xxx

  •   they could just name it "Awake..."

    Steve (SteveCam)

  • Morning Helen, have a lovely time with family, oooh brunch, is that a full English followed with puddingGrinning. Sheila and I had a night in Cambridge, our last,Cry before I dropped her off at HHeathrow for her flight to AusIsland . I'm in Dorset visiting family as it's only 90 minutes away.

    Eddie xx

  • Morning Eddie.

Have the most fabulous time in Dorset! Tell you what, your extended family all seem to live in the loveliest parts of the country so little wonder you enjoy the visits

That must have been a wrench, seeing Sheila off, but I'm sure J and J will take the sting out as will your kids. It'll be March before you know lt. Big bosies xxx

  • Hi Gilly, thank you, but I'm only in Puddletown for 2 nights, as we'll, J, J, and I will be back in DecemberFingers crossed, and it was especially difficult to say goodbye to Sheila this time. So it's a footy day for you two, I hope your both celebrating later this afternoon, come on Leeds.

    love Eddie and Sheila? XX

  • Trophy Thanks Eddie! I added the trophy as wishful thinking but we'll definitely enjoy the match regardless.

I thought you'd made Puddletown up, so I had a look. It was originally called Piddletown, but that was dropped, due to obvious connotations, but the River Piddle kept its name. Useless piece of info for the day.

You'll miss Sheila very much but technology will make it easier to cope, fingers crossed. Love from us xxx

  • Hay Gilly, we will Skype every day as always, and 17th place will be better than any trophy, and oh ye of little faith, making Puddletown up really, did you know a Puddletown native is called a Puddock, hence Kate's username,(honestly), my favourite is Manchester originally being called Mamchester, as it was built on 2 hills that resembled, well mams, I'm sure you will work it out.

    love and bosies Eddie xx

  • Hi Eddie Wave

Two new things I've learnt today - Kate's username origin and the 'shapely' Manchester geographic landscape. Manbosies would have been a better name for the city on the wrong side of the Pennines I reckon Grin

That's great about 'seeing' Sheila every day, and I'm sure the hotter climes will do her the world of good Thumbsup Take care and sending hugs xxx

  • is that a full English followed with pudding

We had bacon, sausage, black pudding, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, hash browns and toast. I was stuffed. Alan finished off with lemon drizzle cake Rofl

    Enjoy Dorset.
