Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Steve, H is right handed but used to have a set of left handed golf clubs as he swung with his left, Joy but holds Walter in his right as using his left didn't work as well. Did you understand all that, as it sounds like cobblers after reading it back? I hope you're not trying to make a holy show of me. Lol!

Yes, 10CC and for pure waffle you'll have to top the above. You have a good evening too chief xxx

  • Hello.
Aww, thank you Gill. I definitely intend to. I was smiling again when I came out the shop yesterday.

  • Hello, and welcome to the forum.
It’s such a horrible thing when your sleep is affected.
I got sleeping tablets after my last Chemo session, to take for 3 nights, and it made a difference.

  • Aw that's the ticket Kez, and you keep that smile on your face as it'll make others smile too. A bonus - feel good endorphins! Big hugs xxx

  • That’s great to hear that it looked good. It sounds as though you were very happy with it.

  • A beautiful photo Helen Blush and it looks so natural. I'd never have guessed that was a wig. Fabulous xxx

  • You look stunning Helen! I think it's great how wigs are such a huge confidence boost when going out in public, they always make us feel good and that helps on the dark and lonely days. I actually have two, one with short hair and one with longer hair, I've also rocked the bald is beautiful look in the past. Just depends on my mood! Slight smile

  • Gill when I first got 'Mr Sticky' mark1, it had a normal handle.  Now with mark2, the handle is shaped only for the right hand.  It looks strange but it's comfortable.
