Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

You might have been getting “notifications” depending n your settings in the forum. This is not a message to you but just an alert when someone has made a post on a thread you’ve been part of. It’s letting you know there has been a new post from someone, but it’s not a personal email to you. An email from Macmillan will be something different.

Hi Gilly, RE, J, I looked to see if the lass had PMs, but no. If by chance the email was from Macmillan, I can't see them sending so many, I think Sarah's in the best position to look into it.
Oh Gilly you do know when a good friend tells me not to worry, it has the opposite effect, and I'm so sorry you've had a rotten time today, and as is your wish my friend, I won't pry, but you know I'm here for you sweetheart if needed.
love Eddie xx
I can let you know how to stop the notifications if you want to do that?

Sarah is looking into it

Hi Eddie
I think there’s some confusion maybe for Jann about notifications, not emails.
Sarah xx
sorry they are emails on my mobile xx Not the Forum xX
Yes, I understand-you are getting emails to notify you that there has been a post made in this thread I think. But you can stop getting these if you want to by changing your settings and I can tell you how to do that if you’d like to?

Hi Sarah. Ooh I like that word, bosie, so I'm going to pinch it and use it myself. I'll start with LOH in the morning and write it down and its meaning. I think it will amuse him.
Blame any forgetfulness on your stroke - OH used to leave things all over and not remember where he'd put them: car keys left on a crisp box in the top shop, a marathon hunt for a tenner I found in the kitchen bin, several searches for his wallet and a myriad of other things. It's awful what it does to folk, so you and Jann have my sympathy. I'm probably at risk, as both my mum and hers suffered devastating strokes. But I'm not going to dwell.
I think Jann could be confusing replies to posts with emails? I'd try to help but don't want to confuse the poor lass further, so I'll leave it in your capable hands if that's ok. Here's a bosie for you - love it! xxx
