Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

It’s a lovely country and the people everywhere that I met were so kind and friendly. Your kids will have a ball there I’m sure, as will you and hubby. I’ve never once had a bad meal there either by the way…gorgeous food!

Hi there introuble and a warm welcome to our group from me too.
By following Eddie's posts to yourself, I've got some idea of your cancer, but not a great deal. I'd just like to say I'm so sorry for what you're going through, and would like to send you so much strength right now. I really hope that your doctors will do everything they can to help you, as the symptoms sound grim.
Sarah told you that quite a few of us chat here long after most sensible people have gone to bed, so don't let different time zones put you off posting. Which State do you live in? Eddie's got friends all over the place and often meets up with them - he's like a human whirlwind!
Anyway, if you'd ever like a chat you'll usually find one or two of us here and believe me, we can yap about almost anything.
Take good care of yourself hon, and sending you hugs xxx
I live in Kentucky U.S.A. I've actually tried to talk to Drs in its early stages I couldn't get back and forth to that Dr I have lost my license but I'm in process of trying find Dr close to me yea I have to say thank you to all of you and I'm so sorry you all have been touched by this horrible disease but you don't know how much it helps just being able to talk to someone I have family close but they can't really understand what I'm going through they try I love them so thank you all so much for taking time to listen to me
Hi again. You're so right, only those touched personally by this vile disease can understand what it does, both physically and mentally. Loved ones try, but unless they live with it, they don't really get it. I'm not the sufferer here, but I'm my fella's full time carer, so boy, do I get it. But you're now amongst many who know both sides, so fill your boots my friend.
Wow, Kentucky, but also landlocked so I understand your hankering for seeing the ocean. A good few of us here also love the sea, including me, with a passion. Now I only live around 70 miles from the North Sea, but it might as well be a million miles away right now. I won't go into that yet.
Hey, this is lame but I love my food, and the mention of Kentucky has got me drooling at the thought of a very large bucket of fried chicken. Told you I talked a load of twaddle. Hugs xxx
Lol yeah gotta love KFC chicken yeah I'm a couple days drive away from ocean just one thing on my bucket list
Well I don't know why you lost your licence, but I hope you get it back, pronto. Then when you're well enough, I hope you can get in your jalopy and zoom off. I think you'll find the nearest route is through Virginia? Not sure if I've got that right xxx
Yeah would be faster way they are suspended for a a fine until January and still have to get fine paid Kentucky has few laws don't seem fair to a lot of people actually used to be a huge coal and tobacco state but they both have pretty much stopped mining for coal and tobacco is no longer a option for growth but we will survive I love the country life
So if you wouldn't mind we're are you located I live in Richmond Kentucky U.S.A.
