Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Morning Annette and you other guys.
Yep, silly sod me is still up and wide awake.
Every Friday morning, my fella has an exercise class at our local hospital. It's sponsored by Yorkshire Cancer Research and as I go everywhere with him (his official voice) I join in too. I'm not particularly keen though, as by nature I'm bone idle and don't really look forward to going.
Oh well, I've just started to watch P'tang, Yang, Kipperbang so I'll see if that'll send me off.
Gill xx
Thanks Puddock, Poppy can be asleep in seconds, lucky sod, I slept well nearly 4 1/2 hours, and no hospital/hospice appointments today, I'm hoping to go to art group this morning, but my girls, may be plotting something
,
you managed some sleep my friend.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Lol! That would have worked cos all the same stuff goes round on a loop - mind numbing stuff.
I did drop off during the film but was roused before 7 by the bally alarm. I look totally haggard and the shopping should fit snugly in the bags under my eyes. Happy days...
You have a good one, Steve.

Hi there Eddie. I sometimes wish my bloke had been turned down but that's my lazy side coming out!
We're in the process of getting ready now and I'm looking forward to... wait for it...11 o'clock clock and coming home!
Crikey, I'm one idle b*gger but needs must.
Have a lovely day,
Gill xx
Hi Gill, I understand, I'd never even though of going to the gym, until my cardio/oncology team told me to, if I ever wanted chemo at some time, I thought I was doing ok, but my first exercise group showed just how unfit I was, luckily the guys/girls were great and helped me enormously so now my resting and working heart beat are perfect, but I must say, the free cuppa and cake afterwards, weird I know, and a good natter were fab, you too my friend, enjoy your day.
