Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Gill,She’s 86 but looks much younger. This visit went well.I do need some time to recover and re adjust back to owl mode though I thought my toaster was broken until I realised my aunt had unplugged it.At least I wasn’t expected to be up by 6.30 am this time around.I’m very fond of her but she is strict.Xx
I don’t sleep much at the moment as I’m stressed about selling the house.I’m sure it will be ok once I know the sale is going ahead and I have some idea where I’ll be moving.I’m looking after next doors cat in a couple of weeks. He’s feisty and always getting into fights so I hope he behaves himself.xx
Aw that's brilliant - borders are gorgeous dogs and well done, on the walks. Sorry you lost yours. My good friend, Debs, who sometimes posts here, lost one of hers recently and it was really upsetting for all concerned. I've fallen apart when I've gone through it in the past. I love all animals, but stopped watching the Yorkshire Vet as it was causing OH and myself endless tearful sessions. After a second cat on the programme had to be put to sleep, we agreed to call a halt. Tissues aren't that cheap now and we were reaching for them all too often. When it comes to animals we're a right pair of softies xxx
Yes, my stamina isn't what it was...it's hard to know if it's the cancer, or just age creeping up!
I do hope your house sale goes through smoothly. It seems you've been house-changing for ages, and it is very stressful. Have you decided on buying the house with the garden project?
The surveyor is coming over in a couple of weeks
Just have to pray the buyer doesn’t change her mind but the faults are very evident.I’m ready for a move now.I can’t afford to live here on my own much longer. It would not have been a suitable hou for John even if I hadn’t had to sell it.He can’t get down the garden but he loves the house like I do.I will miss it
xx
Oh crikey love. But don't worry, I'm hopeful things will work out for you both and you'll have something lovely to look forward to.
I'm going to leave you girls to it... it's almost 3am so I'll have an attempt to get back off. Hope you both manage to get some rest too xxx
