Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I did when I was a youngster Eddie-probably because my parents did, but couldn’t do it now-not done it for 40 years and couldn’t stomach it nowadays.

I thought there may be other night owls up and about!
I've had insomnia for years....there's no particular reason why I'm going through a phase of it right now; I'm not stressed about anything, life is good etc....
It doesn't really matter, as I don't have to get up early. I'm looking after my friend's dog at the moment, and she's very confused by my sleeping patterns!
Lucky you, to have a dog to look after, not insomnia! I've had it for years too and it's a damned nuisance on the whole. This time I was having a none too pleasant dream and think my subconscious woke me to get me out of it. I don't know which is worse to be honest. xxx
Oh, that's not so good! Hope you're feeling OK.
It's lovely having a dog around again. I 'lost' my dog in March, and I've been missing her. My mate's dog is staying till Monday. She's a fiesty young border terrier, full of character. I thought I would find walking her quite hard, as I haven't been out walking much on my own, but I've been surprised that I can keep up with her!
