Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I’m in a quandary about it all but I do want a garden more than anything else.I think it would be too much to go from the garden here to no outside space.I spent so much time sitting outside recovering from the surgery.I’d better try and get some sleep I suppose
One of the old tame robins in the garden xx
Morning Jane and everyone-it’s so lovely to have a tame Robin, and I hope you do get a garden in your new place where you will attract some new feathered friends. Good to hear that your aunt’s visit went ok-it’s amazing at our age that we are still having to mind how we behave with elderly relatives and it sounds as if she’s a feisty lady! We will all be keeping all things crossed that your sale goes through without a hitch and you can move on with the next chapter in your life.
Well, it looks like a dreary day out there today and it feels like the start of autumn now. Time for the cosy big hoodies shortly for me! Have a good day everyone.

Hi Sarah,I do get on very well with my aunt and she has been incredibly good to me.She is one of those people that thinks her way is always right though and everything has to be done straight away.We always get things done when she visits. We took a car load to the tip this time.Wet and chilly here today in soggy Somerset.Love Jane xx
I’m sure she would be delighted I find my aunt hard to work with but now I’m used to her ways it’s getting easier. My sister Sarah is scatty but I work much better with her especially at moving furniture. We had to move a piano once my uncle was measuring and saying it wouldn’t go out of the front door.I said it came in that way.We suggested my uncle go and put the kettle on and moved it while he was procrastinating.xx
Hi Gill. I’ve played for over 50 years but need to do it more. I’ve got a Yamaha electric piano, so it’s easier to move than your standard upright and takes up less space. Plus I can put in my headphones so it won’t bother the neighbours!
Before we were married, we were in Newcastle for a weekend and happened upon a music shop. I sat down to have a go on an electric piano on display and unknown to me, my OH heard me from another part of the shop. They later went back to the shop, bought it and had it sent to me when I moved down to England permanently. I still remember my complete surprise and happiness! I like to play classical and modern but I wish I were better at it!
Sarah xx
