Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Aw thanks Jane. Yes, he is a good guy and he's gained a fan club from a few old girls at the exercise group. They kept muttering to me how lovely he is, so I've teased him they're his harem. Big smiles from him. Hope you're doing ok my lovely, and the return of PM should put a smile on others' faces too xxx
I’m ok thanks, preparing for a visit from Aunt Formidable,my aunt Helene this weekend. We get on very well but she is strict. She’s a lark so I’ll have to be up early but I know we will get things done. That’s lovely that your OH has a fan club I’ve got a good man too.I’m looking forward to seeing him later.Off grocery shopping together, what an exciting life we lead.X
Lol! We certainly do lead exciting lives, but I was less than excited when I saw the length of the queue in the chippy! After a gruelling class (not really but cruel on this old biddy's joints) we were famished and eager for a taste o' the sea. I wasn't prepared to wait that long, so we'll have them tomorrow instead.
Hope auntie F doesn't boss you around too much but you've got the shopping with John to look forward to. Ya'know, I really enjoy going shopping with my OH - it's not as frequent as it used to be but great when it happens. It's good to be easily pleased lass. Hugs to you both xxx
Hi Eddie. Has Sheila left you again, to fend for yourself? I'm sure you'll find plenty to do - maybe there's a pile of ironing that needs tackling, or washing the wheelie bins out. Just giving some hints so you don't get bored, but don't even dream of skiving off to the boozer.
There... feel better now? xxx
Sheila's gone to Cambridge with her kids, how did you know?, doing the ironing would be nice, but I've booked myself into my local hotel NHS
, on the advice of the nurse consultant at my hospice, I'm in CC, as usual no view, no roomies, and now no friends
, I do have a moth flying around to keep me company
, and a nurse who keeps popping in to do my stats and insists on waking me up, maybe everyone is asleep.
love Eddie and moth xx
Aw you poor lad. Now that's not good, being on your tod, bar the friendly moth. Are you ok my friend? Ask nursie, nicely, to kindly allow you some shuteye, although I know what it's like - nodding off after the last round of obs only to be woken for another. Now you've got me feeling very sorry for you. Is there a telly in your room, so you and Mr Moth can have background entertainment? xxx
