Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Not Lisbon this time thank goodness.  More local to us if we ever get an appointment Fingers crossed

Do you have an appointment tomorrow?

Thanks re the fires, we are always on alert in the summer Pray xx

  • She's one tough cookie Debs, she's an 8yo bantam going through the moult, and she stands her ground against hens twice her size, and is still laying.

  • Omg!  That chicken is amazing, looks like a mean rock star looking for a fight lol Sunglasses

Treacle has never fallen in the pool but he has put a couple of holes in there with his claws!!  He has great balance and can reach really low down, so clever.

I love crafting it's so good for mindfulness.

    Sian xx

  • Hi Puddock, she's the smallest hen in the flock, very good natured but won't be bullied by anyone, luckily the two top dogs are her pals.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • She has such a mean look in her eye though!

  • Hi Eddie. Aw I think we've got crossed wires as it's Nige going for the tube tomorrow, not LOH.  He has had one in the past though, a RIG, and when it was removed it left a scar that resembles a third nipple! Lol.  I get so muddled up when trying to answer a few posts on the go, like I did a couple of days ago.

    Hugs xxx

  • Hi Sian.  It's good to know you won't have that epic traipse to Lisbon, but the local hospital needs to get its finger pulled out now.  No hon, no appointment for us, just a mix up.  I've sent Nige your love.  Hugs hon xxx

  • Hi Sian, she's my oldest hen, and despite her looks is very friendly, we put a few youngsters in a few days ago and she took it on herself to protect them, and I hope we haven't jinxed Treacle to a soaking.

Having had 6 cats over the years, I agree about the flexibility and balance out feline friends have, a truly amazing and beautiful creature.

Aren't arts and crafts wonderful, what do you like doing my friend, my favourite is painting, oils or watercolour, and patchwork but will happily try anything, I'm painting a donkey and will put it on the forum tomorrow.

    Eddie xx

  • Oh deat Gilly, 3 1/2 years on 2 hormone therapies has really scrambled my brain, thank you my friend for putting me right lol.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • No worries Eddie, and if I'd have been on those kind of meds I reckon my whole head would have exploded!  I don't know how on earth you manage to keep on top of it all.

Hey, I hope you get the painting of the donkey up, as I absolutely love those gorgeous animals.  There's one on telly for the donkey sanctuary, which is lovely, but the ones where they're being ill-treated makes us both cry.

Love from us, with a very happy OH ATM as Leeds are one up xxx
