Are you having trouble sleeping?

Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.

“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

  • Hi again my lovely.  Yes, we'll make sure Nige gets your message, no worries.  Oh crikey, is it the chaotic hospital in Lisbon again?  Let's hope they stop messing you both about so you can get things sorted.  It is a good job you're patient but don't let it stress you out - have a calming cuppa instead.

Well done with the painting; you'll have saved a bomb and it's good exercise for Darren's ropey shoulder too.  H and me are fine thanks hon, and faring better with the cooler weather.  We've not had the fan on for a few days now.  Hey, I hope that wind drops as it must be scary with the wildfires going on.  Hope they're not near you!

Take care and stay safe hon. Big hugs xxx

  • Awww, Sian, their beautiful, and look amazing, contented, and loved, and please tell me Treacle has never fallen in, and I can see sleeping the background grazing happily, lovely.

I've had an ok day my friend, relaxing, just a craft group today, I'll show you what I made, along with my favourite chicken.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Nige goes for his feeding tube tomorrow but not sure which type he'll get as yet.  He certainly needs one though.

Gill. We’ve missed him in HNC. Do you know what the Marsden are doing for him?
