Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hiya Debs, not at all surprised that you are still down, Buck has been on my mind a lot even though I never met him. I really feel for you both and the other 2 doggies, how are they doing?
Hope you manage to get a few hours rest, speak later, lots of love xxx
Hi again hon. Blimey, I wouldn't cope in that heat and would spend most of the time hiding from it! Bet some here might envy you though, and I would like the sea and glorious views.
Yes, no clinic for another twelve months, unless H needs it, and I'll be flexing my fingers any time now for his neck massage. It's pretty therapeutic for me, too!
Let's hope we can get back together soon and you take good care of yourself my lovely.
Hugs and cuddles for the pooches and Sheep xxx
Hi, Debs, and Gilly and a special hello to you Sian, it's lovely to meet you, I've never been to Portugal, but my little brother takes all his holidays there, he adores everything about it and tells me everything about his times there, so I feel strangely familiar to the place.
I think we,"I share them with my allotment neighbour", have about 35 hens and 5 ducks, we added 3 young hens to the group on Friday, but the 2 cockerels had to go, they began fighting all the time and would occasionally have a go at the hens, all's quite and peaceful again, a lot of the girls are going through the moult, so they are very tender another reason the cockerels had to go, we're still getting about 15 eggs a day though, I shall take some photos of them for you.
I'm ok Gilly, 2 of my girls and I went to a wedding on Thursday, and some idiot started getting a little too friendly with my youngest, PS, I'd left to have dinner with two friends, my eldest is very protective of her little sister and gave him a whack for being an a@#e, I was smiling all night , had a lovely day at my hospice Friday. Saturday I met up with a friend from the forum, and today was my volunteering day at the hospice, then Sheila and I went to Wintersetts for a walk and lunch.
Hi Deb, so sorry your still feeling down, but it's understandable to those of us who have loved and lost one of our furry family, sorry PMs are down at a difficult time, being through these updates before a couple of times, I can keep in touch with my closest friends by other means when It's not possible on here.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Hi Eddie and good on your eldest lass, for giving that clown a crack!
You've had another busy few days and I'm looking forward to when we can get back out and about a bit. It'll happen, fingers crossed
I'll have to look up Wintersetts; sounds like a country park? A bit disappointed the Military Tattoo's not televised any more, as I love pipes and drums. I know many don't like bagpipes but I think they're great; my dad had some LPs and we'd listen to them, while the rest of the family cleared off!
Love to you and yours xxx
Afternoon Helen.
Aw, shame you didn't feel well my lovely; magic toast time if the sickness strikes again maybe.
It's good to know you enjoyed Henley, with weather to suit I guess? Hopefully you'll get another trip in (or more) before the weather turns the other way.
Hugs to you and hubby xxx
Hi Gilly, let's hope the clown learned his lesson, and I'm sure you'll be out and about in no time, how did Friday go is LOH getting through the session well, and the canteen well stocked,
I read your enjoying giving LOH his massage, as I've been having a massage for well over 30 years and giving them for nearly as long, I too enjoy both equally.
Wintersetts is sometimes referred to as Ryhill, a few miles west of Wakefield, there's a huge reservoir, a nice lake with a pub at the end.
Sorry Gilly, I don't watch TV, so not sure about the military tattoo, is that Edinburgh's?. I am quite fond of bagpipes, when my family still lived in Oban, I'd often go to visit them on the train, always being greeted by a pipes player at the station, a lovely end to a long journey. I'm sure when you get SKY, the tattoo will be available somewhere.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Love your furry friend what's his/her name?
Chickens and ducks look great and very happy. We also don't have any males now, they are mean to our ladies and far too noisy!
Amazing pear tree too.
Tour sheep called "sheep"
IInteresting that your brother holidays here, do you know where he usually goes?
Sian xx
