Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Gill I had a superb day thank you! I was exhausted when we got home but I think the problem is I am now over tired so haven’t slept Yet but I’m bound to fall asleep sometime soon. Probably just as the alarm goes off because that happens often!
Thank you for the birthday wishes, we are doing it again next weekend on Sunday 24th, when it is our son’s birthday & my young sister’s birthday is 21st. We eat a lot of cake in August!!
I hope it is not too hot where you are. Then your patient will be a lot more comfortable Matron!Have you slept yet?
.
Love Annette x

Morning Annette.
Aw that's good to hear; a superb birthday and another to look forward to. Get plenty of delicious cake down!I
It was a lot cooler here yesterday, so my patient was in good spirits - he ate well and was chuffed with Leeds Rhinos' win at rugby. I managed a good few hours, thanks, so not too groggy. Hopefully you'll get some rest today, and don't do too much in the way of work.
Love to you and Vince xxx
Hi there my lovely. Aw it's good to hear from you Sian and we're all missing you too. Are you, Darren and all the animals well? It's been hot here (cooler now) so I can't imagine what Portugal's been like!
Debs is feeling better after Buck's sad passing, although we all know it's impossible to ever get over, just an acceptance. Nige's latest news is better inasmuch he's got the top gun at RM and will finally get a tube fixed this Tuesday. At least he'll be able to get maximum sustenance and build his strength for whatever lies ahead.
Still no PMs yet, but when they're back I'm going to give you my mobile number so we can keep in touch that way. I was watching Man About the House and conked out - that was about three hours ago, and now I feel dead guilty for keeping you waiting. I saw Eddie's post before I replied and you should have taken up his offer - he's funny and kind and keeps hens, like yourself. Another big lover of our furries!
Keep well hon and hopefully we'll get our little gang together soon. Love and cwtches to you both xxxx
Aw thank you Eddie for your kind offer to Sian (Dub). Although she lives in a beautiful country, it can be isolating, especially as her husband has been through treatment at a hospital miles away from where they live.
Hope you're doing ok my friend? It's actually hotter today than yesterday!
Hugs to you and Sheila xxx
Hiya Sian, Gill and Eddie ... all is well here in Wales although we're still a bit down but that's to be expected. Lovely to hear from you Sian. I'm hoping they get PM back online soon.
About to get my head down for a couple of hours. So catch you all later.

Hi Gill, lovely to hear from you. This week has been nearly 40 degrees every day so really can't do much. We really wouldn't choose to be here in August, there are far too many people around, too much traffic, too hot etc. We try to keep out the way and stay in our "bubble" except for some grocery shopping and walking the dogs. The best place is in the car with the air con on (we don't have air con in the house, just lots of fans blowing hot air around!) Supposed to be cooling down next week thank goodness. So pleased to hear that Nige is getting somewhere, I really look forward to chatting again.
How are you feeling? Hows H? I think i saw you have finished with the lymphatic clinic which is good news.
Sending lots of love and a big cwtch xxx
