Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Hi Annette. I hope you're not as swollen today and the cooler weather's more to your liking. Does the swelling ache? I ask hubby all the time, but he mouths 'no'. Just to get perspective from someone else who suffers, even though it's in a different place. I should imagine it's really uncomfortable, especially in the legs.
Aye, it's rotten to the core what TPTB are doing to our towns and villages. Until a couple of years ago, my eldest worked in such a department. She hated it and wasn't there long, telling me her conscience wouldn't allow it, knowing what went on. She soon got another job, taking a £15k pay cut as she could afford to do that. Just shows how much money they get for trashing where folk live. That's what's annoying but they wouldn't want it on their doorstep. NIMBYs.
It seems odd, one of our favourite night owls being here at this time. Maybe you'll sleep better tonight lass. Take care xxx
Hi Debs. Yeh, it more than likely is that, I reckon I'd be the same. Unless his dentist has been too rough when dealing with his choppers? Glad you've managed a decent day hon - ours has been half and half. Yes, get your head down and have a good kip.
Night hon, sleep tight xxx
Aw blimey. I had a feeling it wouldn't be anytime soon.
I think I'm more disappointed than H about Sky but only cos of the rotten year he's had, and I wanted something good for him. It's going to be next Thursday now, but I growled at them and ensured this first month would cost nothing and I'll get £30 in Tesco vouchers. They also said I'd get compensated but don't know yet how. Always complain, nicely, and it'll pay off. Hugs xxx
Awww, Gilly, you got the proverbial SKY pie in the face, but don't worry about missing a match, it will be repeated again and again and again, and next time you're forced to complain, slip in virgin and cancel, they hear them.
I had an ok day, the wedding was really nice, I skipped the reception to have dinner with two friends, and saw my GP, 1 hour after making the appointment, my rheumatologist is going to talk to the osteoporosis clinic about changing my bisphosphonates, he wasn't told about my double wedge compression fractures, as it wasn't on my GP notes, priceless. Good news I'm off 4 meds, dogs walked and hopefully an early night for me, and
exercise goes down well tomorrow, as well as the cake and sausage sarnies, and your shouting at VAR before the day is out
love Eddie and Sheila xx
