Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

I think I sleep better as there's no pressure to get up and do things like at home. I didn't get up until 7:30 this morning! We like Henley-on-Thames, it's one of our favourite places to visit. After the last year I'm determined to get out as much as we can.

Hi Jane my lovely. Oh my fingers will be tightly crossed for a buyer - it would be so good to get things sewn up before Christmas or thereabouts. It took me just under three months to get everything done on my mum's house sale and everything else when she passed, so I hope you get a good result too.
It makes me seethe over greedy developers; no concerns for wildlife, people's health, nothing! We've had so much round here, and it's turned a once pretty town into an awful landscape of lost fields, crammed with soulless new builds. Grrrrr!
By the way, you've provided some lovely support for Pippa - so kind when you're going through tough times yourself.
Loads of luck on the house and big hugs xxx
Lol. No, it's not you Eddie - it's because something happens almost every day to put a spanner in the works. Today it was Sky. I won't bother with the boring details; suffice to say the plonker last week, who assured us everything was hunky dory, omitted to say he'd also failed the job. So no Monday night footy to watch as we'll have to wait at least another week.
I did ring and complain, in strident tones, and was told I'd be compensated for their muck up. It's par for the course... I'm waiting for tomorrow's exicting event with baited breath. Aaaagh!
Normal service is now resumed. Hope your day went well my friend xxx
Oh Gill, I so know what you mean, this used to be a small village but they have put up houses and flats all around, it's a bit of a joke calling it a village now but thankfully the Community spirit is still alive and kicking!
They shouldn't get away with it. Some of the houses are advertised as here, then when people enquire about schools etc, it turns out they are outside the catchment area!
Love Annette x
