Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Haha, I had a lovely light full"almost", body massage yesterday with another one on Friday, so I would have difficulty fitting you in matron, but I have a high tolerance for pain or should thar be
, as being unable to have pain relief other than paracetamol, I've had to learn how to ignore pain, I'm now able to cut out 80% of it, I imagine your LOH is putty in your hands when your doing your thing.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Oooh you are awful... but I like you! (Whacks out with handbag.)
Suppose I'd better get some kip Eddie. The Sky guy's coming tomorrow, so going shopping early so I'm home for when he arrives. Our slot's between 1 to 6 pm but we might get lucky and he'll be early.
Night night, sleep tight xxx
Morning Annette
Hopefully the message system will be up and running again soon, and our messages will be restored. However, I understand that there have been changes which mean that it won’t be possible to read messages in email like before.
It’s certainly very frustrating for everyone to lose this way of contacting friends since we can’t give out personal information in the main forum to give others our contact details on email etc. I know that the issue is being worked on, but there hasn’t been any confirmation yet of when it will be back up and running.
At least you’re back and have been able to log in. Your lymphoedema sounds very unpleasant to manage in this heat-I’ve never suffered from it before but it sounds horrible. For us down here it looks as though the warm weather is going to continue for now but that won’t be suiting you and it must be so unpleasant. Looks like more of the same here today.

Ah well done Debs. Something tells me it could be a while. Not to worry. Are you going to take Dani's advice to put your mind at ease? I've got the opposite problem, having to prise everything out of H - problematic either way. Any plans for today or taking it easy. I've done everything and just waiting for Sky. Thank goodness it's cooler and the swelling in H's chops has gone down quite a bit. I'm in top mollycoddling mode for my poor lad.

Hey Eddie, have you got a busy schedule today? I honestly don't know where you find the energy!
Anyroad, we were watching Calendar yesterday teatime when our ears pricked up at the mention of our town. They're wanting to build almost 200 houses on what is brownfield land - for decades it held ironworks, scrapyards and an asbestos factory before it was all cleared and grew into fields. It was once again dug up and building started in earnest.
It was reported last night that locals have started an action group since asbestos dust is everywhere, and many are now using inhalers and are attending hospital with chest complaints. The Lyon Confectionery (Midget Gems, Poor Ben's) is just over the road from the site. We live several hundred yards up the road from the Lyon but I'm starting to worry - this stuff gets everywhere!
The planners don't give a monkey's, just as long as their pockets get lined. I worry about my OH, as his lungs have been compromised since his op!

It’s all greedy developers round where I live in South Somerset. It’s mainly one firm that have been responsible for ruining the town. When they chopped down all the trees and shrubs to make way for houses all the wildlife moved into my garden which I was happy about.I’ve got a house viewer coming over shortly and two more on Saturday. It’s another humid day here.Love Jane xx
