Are you having trouble sleeping?
Sleep problems may be caused by how you’re feeling emotionally, or as part of the side effects for cancer treatment. If you find it hard to have a good sleep, you’re not alone. The Online Community is here to support you 24/7.
“Getting a cancer diagnosis is extremely stressful, and that brings a whole load of emotions, and lack of sleep certainly does not help. I think many of us have periods of insomnia. I experienced a long period of not sleeping. I could go off to sleep quite quickly, but after an hour I would find myself wide awake again, and would spend the rest of the night getting frustrated because I couldn't sleep."

Oh crikey Annette, that's all you need, not even being able to wear the garments. I hope the muggy weather goes soon and gives you some respite.
No complaints on the massage front - he's almost trance like when I've done. It would cost a fortune going private. Hey, maybe I should start up a practice at cut price rates - or maybe not as there could be some right unsavoury types out there!
Love Gill xx
Lol! Have you had the massage you mentioned yesterday? I only 'specialise' in the neck and shoulders area - when I first started, my poor lad was wincing; I was obviously being a bit on the rough side! The trouble is, I have a high pain threshold and expect everyone else to be the same, but I've reined it in and he's happy now.
Love Hattie Jacques. Ooh, matron! xxx
Haha, I had a lovely light full"almost", body massage yesterday with another one on Friday, so I would have difficulty fitting you in matron, but I have a high tolerance for pain or should thar be
, as being unable to have pain relief other than paracetamol, I've had to learn how to ignore pain, I'm now able to cut out 80% of it, I imagine your LOH is putty in your hands when your doing your thing.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Oooh you are awful... but I like you! (Whacks out with handbag.)
Suppose I'd better get some kip Eddie. The Sky guy's coming tomorrow, so going shopping early so I'm home for when he arrives. Our slot's between 1 to 6 pm but we might get lucky and he'll be early.
Night night, sleep tight xxx
Morning Annette
Hopefully the message system will be up and running again soon, and our messages will be restored. However, I understand that there have been changes which mean that it won’t be possible to read messages in email like before.
It’s certainly very frustrating for everyone to lose this way of contacting friends since we can’t give out personal information in the main forum to give others our contact details on email etc. I know that the issue is being worked on, but there hasn’t been any confirmation yet of when it will be back up and running.
At least you’re back and have been able to log in. Your lymphoedema sounds very unpleasant to manage in this heat-I’ve never suffered from it before but it sounds horrible. For us down here it looks as though the warm weather is going to continue for now but that won’t be suiting you and it must be so unpleasant. Looks like more of the same here today.
