Hi guys a little bit about me so hard to even take in all in at the min but start of September I gave birth to my beautiful baba girl who is now 8 months old I have two older boys 11/17 a lone parent finally thought my dreams all came through my little perfect family . Few months later I was diagnosed with Crohn’s diease had been suffering on off for years wit symptoms now on steroids was just about to start biological treatment for the Crohn’s when I felt lump left breast in the shower the day after my auntie had her left breast removed due to cancer . I went straight to my GP was seen in the city hospital Northern Ireland 2 weeks later had mammogram scan and biopsy and they confirmed there and then that was grade 2 invasive ductal breast cancer NST in left breast sensitive to hormone oestrogen and is HER2 Negative. I go tomorrow Thursday for wire to be in then go on this Friday 28th for a left therapeutic mammoplasty and sentinel lymph node biopsy and right breast reduction all done in the same day thankfully I was worried wud have to come back later date for it , as of my age 35 he wants to get them both looking the same . Then treatment to follow after surgery. Also my poor granny has just been diagnosed with cancer on kidney and lymph nodes and somewhere eles she is 90 took sick last nte and rush to hospital she also has dementia a few months now the shock of my poor granny also is so so hard such a cruel disease. I hope and pray we all get through this together. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I’m always here if anyone needs a chat or anything much love to you all xx. Post surgery left therapeutic mammoplasty and sentinel lymph node biopsy and right breast reduction lift & tuck on both breast No drains in just peco dressing as I have Crohn’s so it helps wit healing etc . Will get results 10 days time . Here also to help anyone who is in same boat as myself I am 35.
Hi Neevy35. I just dropped by and noticed you hadn't had a reply to this post but I'm glad to see that you've had replies to other posts. I have a different cancer to you but I do know this forum is extremely busy so I'm sorry it slipped through the net.
You wrote you'd get results in 10 days time so hope they were encouraging. I'm also sorry to read about your Granny and hope she's comfortable. My late Dad had dementia and it was so hard for the family to see the daily changes in him - yes a cruel disease.
Sending you hugs, B xx
