My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa
Have a fantastic time Lynne, take care and chill out xxxxxxxxxx
I hope you have a good time Lynne. Don;t forget to take the sun cream and the mozzi repelant. x x x
Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x
You are mad Lynne, but I have already told you that lol. You have a fantastic time as you deserve the rest. Ailsa, sorry to hear that you are having troubles but hopefully the next few weeks will fly in and then you will be able to get your own space again.
I am doing okay. Had quite a bit of pain last night and this morning which was really depressing me as it has been going on too long and I was so excited about going away tomorrow. Not just because I want to see Muse but I am looking forward to having a good girlie time with my friend Jane as I know we will have a riot. But thankfully I am feeling better tonight so hopefully it will continue into tomorrow as it is going to be a long day! I am really needing a break away as I have now been in the house for nearly 2 weeks and as we all know it starts to get to you. My emotions have been terrible this week and nearly broke up with boyfriend over it but we sorted that out today thankfully. He puts up with a lot but then so do I lol. And I sold the caravan!!! Yippeee - I am so glad as I was getting really sick of the hassle. My mum and dad were showing the lady it and it turns out it is my big cousins best pal. She had seen it advertised but didn't know who I was or anything. What a small world. So I am happy it is going to someone nice that will enjoy it.
Right I really need to pack now as I have been trying to do it for ages and we are getting the train at 9 tomorrow.
Take care penguins and have a good weekend. No doubt I will be posting pictures on FB!!

Fiona enjoy your party tonight.
Rosemary I m glad to read you had such a `real` laughing fit. I had one the other day with my son`s girlfriend over a photo, think she was actually laughing at me laughing! but refreshing all the same.
Well I ve done my first week and really enjoyed it. Exhausted but defintiely think I ve made the right move. Felt a bit flat last night, was too tired to go out and do anything but wished I had that special person to do `nothing` with. You know what I mean lol. G works nights and is working all weekend, rubbish!! We may go out for Sunday lunch tomorrow. Today I ve got an appointment at the bank, not really sure what for, to discuss my account and make sure I m getting all the benefits!! Lets hope so lol. Then may do the garden as it is so lovely.
Have a good Saturday everyone

Evening everyone. Have a great time in Manchester seeing Muse Gayle. Fiona I hope the eye test went okay today. Not long until next Sunday now. This evening I am planning my itinerary as I am also seeing some aunts and uncles while I am in Glasgow. I am taking the ferry to Bute on the Monday and then back to the mainland on Tuesday towards Loch Lomond. Helen I am glad you have enjoyed your first week in your new job. I will think about you for your wedding anniversary next weekend. Hopefully we are all learning by now that the day is nowhere near as bad as the build up. It seemed to me as though everyone who remembered my anniversary last year forgot this year or perhaps just didn't know what to say a year on so be warned. Have a lovely lunch with G tomorrow.
I am at Becky's house in Bracknell this evening. We didn't get here until 2:35am this morning as I was very tired and had to stop a lot on the way. I had a good lie in this morning though so it's okay. My van is full ready for an early start tomorrow so we should be home in Yorkshire by lunchtime given a bit of luck. It is actually quite relaxing here this evening so it is a nice rest for me. I hope everyone else is okay this evening. Take care. Ailsa xxx
