My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

Morning all , dam this lap top , i've done everything people have told me to do to try and speed it up , de fragmented , cleared photos out onto my memory stick , run scan after scan and its still not much better , i look like trying to take it back but have still got stuff in it which i'd hate to lose , so i'll have to get another memory stick to get everything on it before it stops working altogether (which i have a feeling its going to do ) So i'll just say hi and to you all , i'll keep up with the posts from my phone . Hope your all ok and great picture Sue lol .

    Hello everyone,

What a pain about your laptop Lynne.  I would feel like someone had cut off my arm if my laptop wasn't working :-)  Hope you get it sorted soon.

I've got a really busy week this week.  I'm up in Aberdeen just now for a couple of days (and I did the speed limit all the way here :)).  Then back tomorrow night and then Wednesday I have someone coming to see the caravan so fingers crossed I get it sold.  Then I am taking the dog to stay at Wully's best friends house.  Thursday I am getting all pampered at the beautician for my holiday then my boyfriend comes home that night so he will stay with me till Friday night then I will pack then off Saturday lunchtime.  I will definitely be needing my holiday!  This happened when I went to Tenerife and I got there and slept for about 2 days because I was shattered.  Oh well I am sure the weeks break will do me good.  I went through to Wully's family yesterday and it went okay although Ewan didn't remember them (we last saw them in September) and was very shy.  Then we had dinner at my sister's house on the way home.  She is doing okay and will find out next Monday if the IVF has worked so please everyone keep those fingers still crossed.  I better get on and do some work!

    Take care penguins

    Afternoon everyone

Lynne hope you get your lappy sorted soon x

Gayle I will keep everything crossed for your sister. The waiting is the worst!! Enjoy this week and then obviously have a great hols and rest too xx

I m still enjoying my time off but have definitely got too much time on my hands. Feeling quite restless and not sure what kind of mood I m in, doesnt help that one of my friends is away for a week and boyfriend is on nights all week. But got London to look forward to with Nat on Saturday then he is off for couple of weeks so can hopefully plan more things then off to the lakes. Poor thing doesnt understand how I need to keep busy!! He keeps telling me to chill and relax but thats not me, hence why I ended up going to the pub yesterday with friends!!! Been sorting paperwork out today and going to do lots of shredding!!!

Is Judi back today?? Hope you had fun, sure you did x

Well I cant remember what everyone else is up to so will re read posts and be back later

    Big hugs

    Helen xxx

Evening Everyone,   Well it's been another day of rain here where has the summer gone. My workmate on hols this week so i am working all week no day off for me Helen. Kim is getting use to being  at home dreading going back to school. Charlie slept to 6.45 on Sunday morning so not so bad, he is such a good boy just put him in his baby walker and he is off. I am trying to get something to wear for the wedding i am going to in Aug i am not looking forward to wearing a dress it's just not me i am happier in my trousers. I have booked a lodge for the night where the reception is so Kim and Grierson and Charlie going to come as well and they can do something on the Friday. I also got an invitation to my friends 50th on the 10th of Sept the same weekend i have John Edwards, i don't know if i will go though it's just not the same going to parties on your own. O dear tears now even thinking about it why is life so unfair.   Patricia hope you had a good holiday. Gayle not long till yours now, you have a busy week to get through first. Glad to hear you didn't break the speed limit today. Lynne i hope you get your laptop sorted or they give you a new one i would be totally lost without mine. Helen i know what you mean about keeping busy all the time, when do you start your new job? Hope everyone else is doing ok and i send hugs to you all. Fiona xxxxxxxxxxxx
