My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa
Hi All, Well a special hug for you Judi, i know the weather is terrible here as well cold windy and sleet as if we have not had enough. But safer for your mum and dad to wait till April. Rosemary don't think i have you on facebook as a friend. You are having a busy time with weddings and buying of houses and angel readings. Hope everyone else is doing ok tonight, hope Gayle has power back on soon. Looking forward to John Edwards in Sept Lynne and Gayle will be able to tell us all about him when they go in May. Well off to have my coffee before bed not been sleeping well the last few nights but could sleep when time to get up. luve and hugs to you all. Fiona xxxxx
Evening everyone,
Well power is resumed and yes I didn't have internet Judi it was a nightmare although still had my iphone ;-) It went off about 3am and luckily for me I was working away but my poor mum and dad were staying here. It finally came on about 8pm but it is still freezing because the heating was off for so long plus the snowy blizzard outside doesn't help! It has flickered a couple of times too which is not good so hopefully it will stay on although I left the boys at my mum and dads just in case.
Had a funny day today as I left my office for the last time. My two bosses fell out and split the business and I will be working with one and the rest of my colleagues have went with the other. We are both moving offices too (with me mostly in Aberdeen from start of May). I am pleased career wise as I got the better deal with my boss but I will miss the company of the others and the office banter as I will 99% of the time be working on my own now. Plus the office has huge reminders of Wully as I worked there all throughout his illness and it was my stability in recent times after all my other upheavals. Never mind - onwards and upwards!!!
Rosemary - you do have your hands full!!! Take a deep breath or alternatively open another bottle of wine :-)
Hugs to you Judi - I can imagine you are really disappointed and feel a conspiracy going on. Not sure when this weather is supposed to lift but it is really annoying me already lol.
Take care my little penguins (and Bren - we will come to you!!!).
Gaylexxx
Hi everyone. Sue you keep sending a lovely little picture that makes me smile just before I go to bed - thanks x
Lynne & Gayle make sure you tell us all about JE after you see him in May. Lynne I hope your knee and ankle are not giving you too much trouble but Rosemary is right - you could probably do yoga even with aches and pains. It will be like my pilates! Escape is not that easy!! Gayle I am glad the power is back on. I can't believe all you up in Scotland have snow again. When is it going to end?? We have had tremendous downpours today. Gayle it sounds like you have had a big upheaval at work - all the very best settling into the new place xx
Bren I am sure we will figure out how to meet you soon - we penguins will not be defeated! Fiona I hope you were okay yesterday. Take care of yourself. Get off to bed and try for some sleep and hide from the weather.
Judi sorry you can't see your dad and your mum again this weekend. You must feel so cheated. better to keep them safe though and you will really enjoy it when they do finally get to you ((((((hugs))))))
Rosemary - wow, I am exhausted just reading your post. There seems to be no holding Sam back. It is lovely that she is so full of happiness. Thanks for your text. My cold is not too bad and I think i am doing all the right things. Vitamin C and cod liver oil. A colleague and 2 friends took me out for tea as well so I had some proper food for a change. I still can't seem to shake off my sad, flat feeling but I am sure it will lift soon.
Well it is nearly 11 so I should get off to bed. Take care everyone. Ailsa xxx
well here i am in Osaka. got to the hotel about 11.00 but can,t check in until 16.00. We have been for a walk round the shopping mall.*everything looks so old fashion like a scene out of a late 50{s movie. went into a noodle bar. and took pot luck coz we don't have a clue waht anything is. Also went to look at a Shinto temple and a Bhuddist temple. I know how to live the high life.
Not read any of the posts but brain has shut down. I am standing by a shelf at the momnebnt using the hotel internet connection and I fell asleep momentarily *oops" nearlyb fell on the floor.
Take care all and I will try to catch up with you later.
Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x
