My husband - Chris - died on the 2nd May 2009 because he had anal cancer. He knew he was going and we spoke about lots and lots of things before he died. That is why I am just not prepared for the huge amount of guilt I feel now. I feel guilty that the world hasn't stopped turning round even though he has died. I feel like everything should stop as a mark of respect. I also feel very guilty that he had to be so ill he had to die. What a cruel cruel thing it is to make someone so ill their body just stops working. I wasn't ready for him to go. I really really hope these are normal feelings because I must hang on to my sanity for the sake of my 3 children. I have never known sadness like I feel right now. I can't believe that I will not hear his voice or feel his touch again. We were married for almost 32 years and I have known Chris for 34 years - since I was 16. What happens now? Ailsa

Glad you. managed to post your pics Judi. I cannot do it as my firewall will not allow it. I have not been able to come on earlier as I am at work but have just managed to grab a break.

I do hope that you are all ok. I will try to get on later today but as I am working again tonight I may not manage it.

    Take care all.

    Love and angel hugs x x x Patricia x x x

Thank you Sue - if it wasn't for Sue I wouldn't be able to tell Judi how to post photos on here.  It was Sue who taught me and I'm rubbish at remembering appointments and stuff right now but I remember things I am taught anytime.

I hope you manage to get on again after your shift Patricia and then we need you & Sue to check out FB.

Judi the jewellery looks great.  I will have a look at the pictures on FB as I will be able to make them bigger on there and see more detail.

Hope everyone has a good day.  Ailsa xxx

Hi everyone, just trying to catch up on all your posts, you have been busy.  I have found I am so tired lately, working full time again and just trying to do what must be done around the house, I don't have much energy for that.  I also feel numb and that is just the right word for it.  Just walk the dog, go to work, take care of dog and cat and find something for dinner and I am done in.
Ailsa we call it freezing rain here and it is treacherous, I will not drive in it, fortunately we have not had a lot of it this year, in fact have had very little snow this year, we sent it all to England I think.

Your ideas sound great, wish I lived closer to you all. Something to help others would make us all feel better I am sure.  I am trying to plan little trips, in February a quick flight to Montreal to stay with a friend and in March a short trip to Albany New York with another friend.  Just to get away from that empty house, but I find even those trips require finding care for the animals, lots of details that I didn't have to sort out before.

Hope I am not coming across too negative, just feeling lonely and sad this week.  Hope you are all coping well.

oh, lesley - what are you like?  you wait for the worst of the bad weather to pass before trying your gymnastics outside the workplace, and then what happens!

Hope you're not in too much pain and discomfort, hun - thinking of you.

    Hi guys

Don't want to tempt fate but nearly every scrap of ice and snow has gone here and I was so happy and then I heard about Lesley's triple axel, I am so sorry hun ..... hope your mum spoils you rotten and that you have some good pain relief.

Friday again, Have just been out for a really long walk with the mutts, the first at a decent pace and distance for weeks, they will now sleep until bedtime!!  Now there's a thought ........

Hope everyone has the weekend they wish for, whether that is going out, or staying in.  Might try for a bit of both .... but only if it gets a bit warmer.  Not much fun out in the cold wind - and although the more layers the better (it hides the tyres) when you get to wherever you're going it takes forever to peel them off!  Darn good job my snow has gone, my scruffy, ancient Timberland boots (only thing I can walk in in the snow/ice) gave up the ghost today - I ended up walking home witha 'flapping sole'.

    Speak later, love to all.
