Just thought I’d pop a post on to share the news I got on Monday of this week which will hopefully give some people who are in a dark place or feel down, some positivity and light.
I was originally diagnosed with TC on 26th October 2016, which was at Stage 1. After an orchidectomy and one shot of Carboplatin I entered remission.
My annual CT scan in December showed mets to my lymph nodes, and I was now at Stage 2 TC - the fight was back on and, in January this year...
I just finished the week of Temolozide. Every month my tiredness and nausea gets slightly worse (slept into 11am this morning). Didn’t leave the house for anything this week as too tired.
Next week I should slowly get better and then have two good weeks before we start the chemo ground hog month again.
So, I've always felt a bit different to other people and nothing ever sat 'right' with me. When people were reacting to things, or explaining things, or when I was explaining things to them, or reacting to situations or questions - something always seemed a little off. Hi I am being offered radiotherapy for lymphoma in lymph nodes in my groin .
I only have one kidney as other was removed after cancer .I now have kidney disease in remaining.

Yesterday I was diagnosed with a soft tissue Sarcoma based on an MRI. The mass is quite large 16 cm x 9 cm x 11 cm in my right leg in the front of the upper thigh. Generally can I rely on this being likely correct?
Well I can't believe it's been over 3 weeks. Mum's house, my childhood home, is virtually empty of her things now. It was her funeral 2 days ago. It went well, just what she would have wanted. I didn't wear black, I warned her I wasnt going to, in fact I warned everyone. So glad to see others not wearing black either. I had an appointment today with my Chemotherapy oncologist to check my bloods and see if I can have chemo next week.
My platelets were 136(need to be above 100) and they had been as low as 108 3 months ago
My white and red cell counts were good as was all my vital organs
So next week I start my 9th month of double chemo which will then lead into my next MRI which is on the 19th of June
This will be exactly 12 months to the day that I was diagnosed
Things that I have done and put aside for my wife and kids to get after I pass away
