    Well it should of been day 16 of Radiotherapy followed by Chemo tomorrow however; hubby decided yesterday he had enough and was refusing to go back, not eaten since day before Christmas eve and no RIG food available, could not get any anywhere, he would not let me go to hospital as a 3 hour round trip and he said he would wait until today.   Long story short managed to speak to a Macmillan nurse at the hospital explained…

    Todays radio session was the half way mark, we look on the next 15 as the way out of this awful treadmill, 3 more chemo days, then the fingers crossed stage for the all clear.

    The other half is a lot worse today really really tired and just not eaten much at all today his mouth is so sore even with using mouthwashes, he managed a scrambled egg and less than half a bowl of soup.  He did had half a tub of Fortisip but…

    One day off half way.  The Hubby is really feeling the effects now, extremely tired and weak, hardly eating anything now, not because he is not hungry but because it is to painful to swallow.  After Radiotherapy today he saw the Nurse and was weighed he's lost a stone in 3 weeks, the Nurse told him off and said he needs to start drinking Fortisips, he hates them but I am encouraging him to see these as part of his medicine…

    Well we are nearly half way now and the other half is even more tired, not eating much at all, he was 16 stone at the start goodness knows what he is now.  Managed 2 scrambled eggs, half a sandwich and a minute amount of mince and mash, not enough.  His throat pain is getting worse by the day.

    Oh dear the other half is really not well at the moment, he had radiotherapy on Saturday this last week so that was 6 consecutive days.  On Sunday his throat was really sore and constantly complaining about he spots all over his face, throat and neck. 

    Attended for Chemo today and radiotherapy, he also had a CT Scan which he was not aware of at the time, like most blokes he did not ask why.  I am presuming it is to…
