    So had my first outpatient appointment yesterday and it was confirmed that they would like me to have 6 weeks of Radiotherapy. Although my margins were clear apparently it was very close on one side and because of my age they would rather take the belt and braces approach.     I seem to have developed mild OCD since going in. Having spent 11 days only really having control of what went where on my bedside tray I now seem to be obsessed with lining stuff up and keeping things straight. ( I am not a tidy person usually !)   • Home and back in society!

    I did indeed get to go home yesterday!!!! Lying here today can't believe that this part of the journey is over.

    Medications I came home with Paracetamol, iron , mouth wash.

    Things I've noticed since I got out..... Top of my right arm is quite swollen, I'm assuming this is from the blood thinners being injected there? Also slightly bruised. Seem to be in the edge of getting my period (2 weeks early) a bit of net…

  • Day 11 - I'm ready to go home now....

    I'm ready- mentally and physically to go home now. Friday they said I was physically ready, but I just wasn't ready myself, but today I am, so hopefully I will be on my way tomorrow.

    Today for breakfast I ate bread and jam, porridge tea and soup. With a tea spoon and a bit of occasional poking ( and the crusts cut off) it all went down. ( I know my hair will never curl!!)
