    So on Monday…

…the plumber came and fitted new boiler and we’ll be able to light the fire tomorrow night. I had to spend the day in/on bed because it was the warmest place. Started watching the Gavin & Stacey boxed set I’d got for my birthday and mooched about the ‘net. Still can’t concentrate properly to read - find myself reading the same bit over and over again even if I’m enjoying the book.…

Not really much to catch up on but my Mum's just asked me what I've been doing for the last two days and I couldn't remember. So this is a test :)

I've had a cold for a week - nothing serious, no temperature, sore throat or aches just a runny nose and a bit of sneezing. Anyway started coughing a bit and occasionally coughing up phlegm - nothing major but I'd been told to ring in  (hospital) if this happened…

    Tuesday 1st December

No fire because of boiler flooding the living room so 'had' to stay in bed late because it was the warmest place in the house. First phone call of the day was from sis-in-law telling us that nephew Sam and fellow crew were being held by Iran (for nearly a week already). Sh*t. Not the best start to a day but hopeful they won’t be used as pawns.

Got up to a birthday breakfast of croissants…

And so it came to pass that on the thirteenth (!) day they did Let Her Out. And there was much rejoicing in the House (til they realised how much tidying up they thought they had to do…). So I managed to avoid any infections this time though I’m still on aciclovir which I think is a kind of broad spectrum antibiotic, itraconazole (an anti-fungal), nystatin (antifungal mouthwash) and corsodyl (mouthwash). First week…
