    Today My mother-in-law had her 2nd session of chemo this time she only had one type where as last week it was two. She now has two weeks off and then starts the cycle again 2 types and then week later 1 type then 2 weeks off.     My Mother-in-law started her Chemo today, She had to go yesterday and have blood tests and a injection which took about 5 hrs in all. She has had 2 types today not sure which but it took about 1 1/2 hrs, next week she has the blood test and then just 1 chemo which should take about 1/2 hr.     Just a quick update, My Mil came home on Tuesday, they only managed to drain the fluid from the biggest pocket they could, as she now has multiple pockets with fluid. Part of her lung is still deflated so she is a little short of breath.     My Mother-in-law ended back in hospital yesterday, she didn't feel well and felt the fluid was building up again. She had a chest xray when she arrived but unfortunally as it's the week-end no doc available to do the drain.     I have been reading other people's entries and realised that maybe I should start my own. It's not about me but my Mother-in-law - just diagnoised. The appt on Monday 22nd didn't really go well , found out that her only hope is Chemo. I think deep down I knew this as I work in a hospital and the cons were I work has been really helpful, arranging CT, Bone scans and inserting chest drains. My Hubby is holding up well,…
