back home

Just a quick update, My Mil came home on Tuesday, they only managed to drain the fluid from the biggest pocket they could, as she now has multiple pockets with fluid. Part of her lung is still deflated so she is a little short of breath. I am still a bit upset rearding my earlier blog, My Hubby seems to be taking it very hard and has been shouting at me and the children I told him he needs to sort himself out as it's not my or the childrens fault it's happened. I am trying to be supportive but I just keep getting it thrown back in my face, his mum has now said that it is out of my hands and she will just have to put up with it. No thanks for phoning work and speaking to the cons about her drain or for him phoning the Oncoligist to hurry up the chemo. I'm there when they want something like when I was at work on Tuesday night I got a phone call from my Hubby asking me to go up to the ward and get her prescription and towel she had left as they didn't want to wait. I'm now just keeping my head down and not asking him about his mum, I will let him talk if he wants to. I'm just fed up that she expects to go into hospital and be seen straight away - you don't even get that if your private.
