Fuming and worried

Less than one minute read time.

Writing this in a mental rage with my stupid husband. He took our son to football practice this morning whilst i went on a dog walk with our other son. i came back home to 15 missed calls and knew immediately there was something up. And yes there is. He took it upon himself to go in goals this morning, despite all the other parents and coach telling him not to and he has gone and broken or dislocated his little finger.

As its the weekend our town a+e cant do xrays so he is on his way up to the big a+e where he has his chemo. I expect he will be in there for most of the day and exposed to all kinds of nasty germs while he is there. I am really concerned but also really really REALLY mad with him! The nurse he saw told him that steroids can make your bones softer and more prone to breaking. No-one told him this but then who would expect someone undergoing intense chemotherapy to be playing f'ing football?

Omg! Men, what are they like. They can be so bull headed sometimes! My own husband, many years ago, broke his leg badly playing football. Had loads of physio and was told not to play until bones strengthen. 12 months later guess what.......broke it again, same leg, same place! I was less than sympathetic. To top it all off we had both been made redundant from our jobs. He was lucky enough to walk straight into another one and had only been there a week when this happened!! Thankfully they kept it open for him. Men don't think, they just do it without looking at the consequence. That's why they need us to organise them ;-) I hope he gets it sorted out hun xxx

Oh bless. I'd be ready for murder in your shoes, I get angry enough when M insists on staying at work when I can see he's had enough because I worry what damage he's doing but football! M was considering badminton last week - when I stopped laughing I pointed out he probably wouldn't make the end of the first game!! Hope he's ok xxx

He's alright, it was just dislocated. The doctor gave him an injection and clicked it back into place. I totally lost the plot. I'm a bit shocked at myself. I shouted at him on the phone and called him a dickhead (while he was with the nurse, who apparently was a bit shocked). Then I drank nearly a full bottle of wine with my tea and decided it was a good idea to answer an email from an old boyfriend that had come out of the blue and I'd been ignoring for a fortnight. Not my finest hour....
