I've not been around for a few days as we've had a house full of visitors at the weekend then Toni has been in a lot of pain which the Palliative care nurse has been sorting. Toni now has an increased dose of morphine 50mg twice a day, Buscopan 20mg 4 times a day, paracetamol 4 times a day and amiltryptiline once a day. He also has oramorph for breakthrough. Toni is in a lot of pain still in his rectum but the Palliative Care nurse has just been and she thinks it may be something pressing on the nerve so once again she is springing to the rescue and contacting our GP to arrange for some medication for him.

My husband has terminal bowel cancer which is recurrent having come back roughly 2 years after he was given the all clear.
