  • My Diary --Lunch with our Friends

We had made arrangements to meet our Friends Dougie and Elaine at the Savacentre at Gillingham so it was a case of getting up showered and take the dog for a walk as he was being left at home alone.

It was bitter cold again on the Sea front but we gave Louis a good play with his ball which he threw straight though a wire fence on a building site so he lost his ball.

We took him home and then set off in the car and it…

  • My Diary --a trip to Minnis Bay

We woke up to another frost that soon cleared when the sun came beaming through.

We set off for Minnis Bay when we had eaten breakfast, showered and completed the usual chores.

It was a great run down the Thanet Way past Thanet Earth ( I really must google and find out what they are doing in there)

We went through Birchington turned left and came out at Minnis Bay

When we got to our destination we wished we had…

  • My Diary –Rays CT Scan

Well it was a hectic drive to the hospital in Canterbury as the traffic was so bad and then when we got to the hospital there was no parking spaces what so ever–not one and it was only 9.15am.

We had to drive back down the road and we found a parking space which we grabbed and then had a long walk back to the hospital.

It was all so familiar walking through the Fracture Clinic to find the Scan receptionist…

  • My Diary a great day in Ramsgate

We had promised that if the weather was still great we would take a ride to Ramsgate or Folkestone Ramsgate won.

It was a lovely sunny day and so warm as we set off with the dog on the back seat of the car.

We parked up just after Pegwell where it overlooks the Cargo Docks and the sky and the sea was a wonderful blue
