My Diary a great day in Ramsgate

1 minute read time.

We had promised that if the weather was still great we would take a ride to Ramsgate or Folkestone Ramsgate won.

It was a lovely sunny day and so warm as we set off with the dog on the back seat of the car.

We parked up just after Pegwell where it overlooks the Cargo Docks and the sky and the sea was a wonderful blue

We stopped to look at the Lorries loading on the Ferry and they would soon set off for France but at least they would have a calm crossing.

We walked along talking and taking photo's and Louis was enjoying sniffing about and he passed so many dog's it was a joy to have him walking with us, then down the hill to the Harbour

There are so many boats in the harbour of all shapes and sizes moored up for the winter.

We were shocked to see the Casino has closed down and was up for sale and the Motor Museum also life changes all the time.

We came back up the hill slowly stopping now and again to get my breath and came back to the car to travel home.

I made a QUICHE LORRAINE --cheese eggs and chives which was very tasty accompanied by a jacket potato.
