    Well I am still wandering round with a grin on my face. It's over, my last chemo done and dusted and what's mre Barbara the most wonderful chemo nurse iin the universe, managed to get the canula in first time ( it took four attempts last week) and it was almost pain free. To celebrate I treated myself to lunch out. Fish, chips and mushy peas, I even put salt on the chips and then the most gooey creamy chocolatey dessert…

    Spent four days last week at my union’s conference and it felt so good being out in the real world you know what I mean having to get up and going out first thing in the morning and then feeling as if I were doing something rather than just pottering about. The hotel I was staying at was part of the Albert Dock complex, the only problem with it was the heating which seemed always to be on high, so did not sleep well.…
