Drove my wife to her hair appointment at 1130.  Felt shattered after with massive hot flush.  (Off abiraterone for six days now but still on steroid tabs).  My abdomen is much less distended now and my waist has lost up to 2 inches as measured by my trouser belt holes!  The right leg remains swollen up to my knee but is cool and painless.  No DVT there.

Bowel and bladder have behaved much more calmly in the past week and…

Trying to get ready for the big day.  Have tried to correct my profile for this blog but have found no way of doing so.  My diagnosis was 2013 not "this year" as in the blog profile, above. The blog entries are editable but not the profile heading.

Last blog entry: "what is remission?" So I'd better update.

Saw my onco today.  PSA back up to 9.4, lowest 2.9 in April. Abiraterone running out of steam. Offered RT for pain in what the Transatlantics call the Butt.  Onco says there was activity in the bone scan there, months ago and so he'll put me back in the microwave to see if that will help.  Chemo is getting a little closer but he says he will review…

My PSA is steady at 2.9 on abiraterone and prednisolone but of course it could be lower.  Days vary from fantastically well and active, (yesterday), to tired, wobbly as though drunk and weak legs, (today).  I don't understand all this.  The only constant is disturbed nights though length of time asleep does vary.

I know the mets are still there but nothing new has gone wrong recently.  My urinary stream varies day to…
